This drawing class invites you to dig deeper into technique and process. Through focused exercises and exploratory approaches, you’ll refine your observational skills, experiment with new methods, and develop a more confident, intentional drawing practice.

Curious to push your acrylic painting skills a little further? Wondering how to make your colors feel more vibrant, or how to build richer depth and dimension in your work? Join this painting class designed for adults ready to explore beyond the basics. Through guided experimentation and process-based learning, you’ll refine your techniques, expand your visual language, and gain new confidence in how you approach your paintings.

Mondays from 6pm to 8pm
This class is designed for those curious about ceramics, as well as those with prior experience who are looking to get back into the swing of things. We’ll learn the basics of hand-building ceramic forms that don’t require the use of a potter’s wheel. In addition to the foundational techniques of slab, coil, and pinch, we’ll cover joining methods, moisture control, and glazing and firing processes. Hand-building offers endless creative freedom—the only limit to what you can create is your imagination.
Students are eligible to come to open studio throughout the semester on Sundays from 10-2:00PM.

This class is for anyone who would like to explore the basics of drawing! Drawing is the structure beneath almost any creative endeavor, it’s an incredible meditative tool and is deeply grounding. This is a perfect class for beginners to start to find some tools as well as for more seasoned drawers to have a space to remember the basics and start fresh again. Some supplies included. A detailed supply list will be sent after sign up.

June 1st - July 31st
Splash into some intermediate watercolor techniques! In this class you will explore your personal esthetic in watercolor paintings.
We will play with form, tone, and design as we delve into composition and subject matter. We will examine materials, process, and design as you grow in skill and confidence with a community of learners who are all taking the journey together. Basic drawing skills are required, and some watercolor experience is preferred.

Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
This class is a beginning level, exploratory class that uses a variety of mediums to help each artist find their own best path of expression. We'll explore clay, collage, fiber arts, drawing and painting. Each class will explore how different materials give us a different doorway into creation. We'll get familiar with a variety of media and techniques, becoming more aware of what each medium offers, and utilize playfulness and experimentation to allow a more open ended form of creation. Ultimately this class is useful for students that want to try new mediums or are hoping to get more clarity on which mediums best serve their artistic interest.
Most supplies included. You will need a mixed media sketchbook.

Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
New to acrylic painting or ready to refresh your skills? This class offers an inviting introduction to working with acrylics, focusing on how to build color, create depth, and develop confident brushwork.
You’ll explore techniques like layering, blending, and surface development while getting comfortable with the medium’s quick-drying, flexible nature. Through a mix of guided exercises and open-ended projects, you’ll gain practical skills and begin to develop your own approach to painting in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm
Designed for advanced beginners and intermediate students, this class builds on foundational hand-building skills while encouraging a deeper exploration of form, design, and function. Through projects and guided support, you’ll refine techniques while developing individual projects that push you to find your artistic voice. This is an opportunity to expand your skills, push your ideas further, and learn in a community of other ceramics lovers. Supplies for this class can be purchased at your local clay store.

This is a beginning to intermediate class for learning how to engage with colors confidently in your paintings and develop an understanding for how and why you like to use them. This will be a class rooted in play, non judgment and finding expression from your unique voice. You will learn how to let go and trust the process while mixing colors, gaining understanding of various painting techniques and how to develop compositions. 8 week session.
