Rediscover the magic of Shrinky Dinks! Start by drawing, tracing, or coloring your own designs on special shrink plastic, then watch as your artwork transforms with heat into miniature works of art. Turn your creations into keychains, jewelry, bag/phone charms, ornaments, or unique keepsakes. This hands-on project is perfect for all skill levels and offers plenty of opportunities for creativity, personalization, and a little bit of nostalgia.

You’ll be provided an assortment of materials - a metal bookmark base, large and small beads of all colors, chains, and charms - alongside guided instruction. You’ll walk away with a variety of basic beading techniques under your belt, and a handmade bookmark to show off at your next book club.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring the vibrant tradition of Mola art, inspired by the intricate textile designs of the Guna (Kuna) people of Panama and Colombia. In this workshop, you'll learn a little about the history and cultural significance of this unique art form and then creating your own colorful animal-inspired design. Using oil pastels, you'll blend rich layers of color and then add bold black shapes to reveal your patterns, just as traditional molas use layered fabric to create striking designs. This fun, hands-on workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn about another culture, create side by side, and take home a colorful work of art together.

Autumn is a time for rediscovering our connection with the earth. This celebration of the equinox will begin with a gentle, grounding yoga practice to prepare you for creating a personal cairn using Lizella clay, a rich, red clay native to central Georgia that has shaped the region’s pottery traditions for generations. sing simple mark-making tools, you'll craft a cairn that symbolizes balance, resilience, and connection. You'll finish your piece with a brushed layer of engobe, adding subtle depth and contrast while allowing the natural beauty of the clay to shine through.

*PLEASE NOTE: Your cairn will need to be kiln-fired after the workshop. Jessie will let you know when it is ready to be picked up!
